Liza Soberano cast in her first Hollywood feature film
Liza Soberano, an actress from the Philippines, will make her Hollywood debut in the horror-comedy “Lisa Frankenstein,” which also stars Cole Sprouse and Kathryn Newton.
The 24-year-old actress, who was born in California, revealed the good news in a piece that was published on Friday by renowned entertainment news website Deadline.
The 1989 film based on the novel “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley stars Newton and Sprouse as the leads; Soberano’s part has not yet been made public.
The film is being directed by actor-filmmaker Zelda Williams, the late actor Robin Williams’ daughter.
She expressed her excitement at being in the movie in a post on Instagram.
She also receiveda warm welcome from her co-star Newton, who starred in “Big Little Lies” and Netflix’s “The Society.”
