UP starts application process for AY 2023-2024

The University of the Philippines (UP) launched its freshman admission period for Academic Year 2023-2024 on Friday.

A post on Facebook by UPCAT – U.P. announced that the application period has officially begun.

With the suspension of the conventional pen-and-paper entrance test for the third straight year, the institution will assess student candidates using the UP College Admissions (UPCA), an admission score model.

Except in a few select areas, all candidates must complete and submit their UPCA forms, which include personal data sheets and high school transcripts, online via the university’s online admissions portal, along with pictures and electronic signatures.

The deadline for submission of requirements will be on October 15, 2022.

The university will also launch its online helpdesk starting Monday, September 19, via the UPCAT – U.P. System Facebook page.

The online helpdesk will be open from Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
