Belle Mariano bags Outstanding Asian Star prize at Seoul International Drama Awards 2022
On Monday, September 5, Belle Mariano was recognized for her performance in He’s Into Her by being one of the recipients of the Outstanding Asian Star Prize at the Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA) 2022.
The 20-year-old Filipina actress defeated 175 Asian actresses, both male and female, to earn a spot among the top five honors chosen by fans worldwide.
Along with Belle, other winners included Wallace Chung from China, Yusei Yagi from Japan, Alice Ko from Taiwan, and Krit Amnuaydechkorn from Thailand.
Belle is the first Filipina and the sixth star from the Philippines to get the honor. Prior recipients of the honor included Gabby Concepcion, Dennis Trillo, Alden Richards, and Dingdong Dantes.
The Seoul International Drama Awards, a festival that was established in 2006, aims to unite international TV drama productions and promote cultural diversity.
In addition to He’s Into Her, Belle is most recognized for her parts in the films “Love Is Color Blind” and “Four Sisters Before the Wedding.”
