McCoy de Leon incurs netizens’ wrath after confirming split with Elisse Joson
Actor McCoy de Leon has confirmed his breakup with partner Elisse Joson while issuing a public apology to people who were hurt and affected by the current circumstances.
McCoy made the confirmation in a series of Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 4. In his Instagram updates, the “Deleter” actor wrote: “Sorry po, pasensya na po sa inyong lahat… Hindi po totoo ‘yung mga convo na kumakalat, hindi po ako ‘yun. Pasensya na po ulit.”
Earlier, screenshots of his alleged private messages with another woman, as well as a selfie showing him being affectionate with an alleged third party, circulated on social media. McCoy denied he was the person in the leaked conversation.
He also insisted no third party was involved in his breakup with Elisse.
“Wala pong [involved] na ibang tao [sa] pinaka rason kaya kami naghiwalay. Sana po maniwala po kayo,” he wrote in the IG Stories, which were publicly visible for several hours.
“Hindi ko po intensyon [na] manakit ng tao o manloko. Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat lang ng problema kaya po ako sumuko.”




McCoy provided no specifics with regard the “problem” that led to his split from Joson, with whom he has a daughter, 1-year-old Felize.
McCoy and Elisse first met as housemates in the “Lucky 7” edition of “Pinoy Big Brother” in July 2016. program to a large following that would be called “McLisse.”

Netizens refuse to believe that McCoy was faithful to Elisse, with some even insisting that it was he and his rumored paramour who were behind so-called incriminating leaked screenshots.
