Actor Dominic Roco, 4 others arrested in QC drug buy-bust sting

Dominic Roco, an actor, and four other people were detained by police after a narcotics buy-bust operation was conducted in Quezon City on Saturday morning before dawn.

According to the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD), at roughly 1:20 a.m., agents from the QCPD-Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14) recovered from the group P112,000 worth of shabu, P14,000 worth of dry marijuana, a weighing scale, and marked peso notes.

The actor was arrested together with Reynaldo Sanchez, 45; Eugene Marvin Tolentino, 27; Renz Anthony Cruz, 33 and Dexie Diamante, 21.

The police had been searching for Sanchez, when they caught the group sometime after midnight.

The suspects will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Roco is the son of actor Bembol Roco and the twin of actor Felix Roco. He has appeared in the films “Liway” and “I’m Drunk I Love You.”
